Thanks to Revel Nation for taking care of me on the road again this year.  I had a blast and looking forward to next year already.

Carnival Tuesday With Fantasy 2016

Beautiful women, soca music, and liquor will always be a good combination.  If it was up to me, every Tuesday would be Carnival Tuesday.  If you were unable to make it to Trinidad for Carnival Tuesday this year, below is a sample of what took place with Fantasy.  Special thanks to Nigel and Benny for making sure my team and I were taken care of.

Carnival Monday With Fantasy 2016

Trinidad's Carnival Monday 2016 is in the books.  My second year jumping with Fantasy and another great carnival.  Many more carnival memories created, new friendships conceived, and images to last a lifetime.  If you've never played mas in Trinidad start planning now for next year. You won't regret it. You will say to yourself that you're gonna do this once, but when you get there all that will change.  You will be planning your next carnival visit for the following year on your way to the airport.  Special thanks to Nigel and Benny for making sure my crew and I were well taken care of.  Hope you enjoy the pics and look out for carnival Tuesday pics coming soon.

Jamaica Carnival 2015

Trinidad carnival 2015 in the books and now Jamaica Carnival 2015 is in the books. Had a blast with all my friends and great seeing some that I haven't seen in a long time. Hope you enjoy the pics. Feel free to share and follow on instagram at RogerBstillz.

2015 Trinidad Carnival Monday With Island People

This time last week found me with the Yellow Devils playing Jouvert then getting ready to play with Island People. Since I started going to carnival I have always played with Island People Mas. They have been good to me so I decided to spend Monday with them even though my friends played else where.  I had a great time with them and just wanted to say thanks to Bazo and Scuf. Below are some images I captured while with them.

Miami Carnival 2014

Miami Carnival 2014 is in the books and I must say that I was not impressed with this year's carnival. I thought it was very boring and wasn't really into taking pics. Below are a few of what I captured.

Jamaica Carnival 2014

Jamaica Carnival 2014 is in the books.

Toronto's Caribana 2013

After attending carnivals in Miami, Jamaica, and Trinidad I wasn't impressed with Toronto's Caribana. There was a lot of down time, a lot of standing around and a lack of continuous vibes. The lack of liquor Im sure was a minus on the overall carnival. Besides that, the women were gorgeous and the costumes were great. Thanks to Dj Dorenzo for adding some life to the carnival and playing music with the flow and energy Im use to. Up next Miami Carnival. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Jamaica Carnival 2013

I survived Jamaica Carnival 2013. Thanks to all those who showed my camera love.

Trinidad's Carnival Tuesday 2013

I've now made it to Trinidad's Carnival two years in a row. I had a blast last year and this year was no different. If you have never been to carnival in Trinidad put it on your list and start saving from now lol because things can be a bit costly. Once that's out of the way its pure niceness. When you can provide me with good friends, great music, beautiful women in costumes, and allow me to photograph them for two days I'm always going to be a happy individual. With that said below are some shots I captured during Carnival Tuesday with Island People. Enjoy and share. Supa Supa Supa Supa :)

Jamaica Carnival 2011

It's been well over ten years that I last experience Jamaica's carnival so I was well overdue. Around 10am I met up with my favorite Jamaican photographer Dwayne Watkins and his assistant Steven. From there we were off to a very adventurous day. We started out with the intention of only marching halfway but the carnival vibe hit us early and we couldn't seem to break away. I was warned that it normally rains every year for Jamaica's carnival and yes this year was no exception. Luckily my camera bag has a rain coat; however, the down pour was so hard we had to seek shelter. Eventually the rain passed and it was back on the road again. Continuing on the journey I met up with Dj Bambino & Dj Walshy Fire and this is where the fun began. Deciding that we needed a bit more vibes Dj Bambino took over a truck and tore the place down playing all the soca favorites. I must add that I'm very impressed with this year's soca and next year God willing I will try for Trinidad's carnival.
